Hotel description and useful information for travellers

Cleanliness

Mixed signals: many reviews call the hotel and rooms 'clean' and 'spotless', but several report issues (musty rooms, mildew, poor housekeeping, a room that felt 'stuffy' and one account of inadequate cleaning after room service).

Service

Strong positive consensus: numerous mentions of friendly, welcoming and helpful staff (several calling it the best customer service in Panama; individual staff praised such as 'Mike'). Some procedural rigidity (check-in time) noted, but staff assistance (wheelchair/ER help) received high marks.

Location

Frequently praised as ideal and convenient — close to malls, transportation, restaurants and good access to explore Panama City.

Room Quality

Generally comfortable and well-renovated suites with good beds and hot water, but a subset experienced problems (bathroom flooding, watermarks, musty replacements and an instance of AC not working), producing a mixed but overall positive impression.

Amenities

Positive mentions of attractive decor, rooftop dining/bar and a lovely breakfast courtyard; small boutique feel and practical features (luggage storage). Some guests wished for better communication/orientation to on-site amenities.

Food and Beverage

Breakfast repeatedly praised as excellent and served in a pleasant courtyard, though a few guests found it repetitive/very continental and noted lack of vegan options.

Experience the perfect blend of luxury and convenience at Gran Evenia Panama, where modern elegance meets exceptional hospitality.

Recreational Amenities

Dive into relaxation with our outdoor pool or stay active in our fully equipped fitness center. Your wellness retreat awaits with ample leisure options right at your fingertips.
